Thank you for deciding to register on the Portal for the Fashion Forever Green Pact (hereinafter “Portal”). 1. Description

The Portal is the official platform of the Fashion Forever Green Pact, which enables organisations in the textile industry to express their commitment to sustainable sourcing of forest products (hereinafter “Purpose”). The interface is available on the fashionforevergreen.org .

The duties of hosting, maintenance and data processing are conducted by FSC Marketing and Communication Unit of FSC Global Development GmbH.

FSC GD is the ́controller ́ of the personal data you provide under the Purpose of this Privacy Statement and Squarespace Inc. acts in a function of a ‘processor’ in performing the Purpose of this Privacy Statement.

2. What Personal Data We Collect

In order to fulfill the Purpose of this Privacy Statement, we may need to collect or store some personal data. The personal data we process can include the following:

  • Company name

  • Address

  • Website

  • Link to public procurement policy / forest policy

  • Contact information of a designated person (e.g. name, position, email address,

    telephone number)

  • Public representative for the purpose of this Purpose (e.g. name, position, email

    address, telephone number)

  • General telephone number

  • General e-mail address

  • Details of the progress related to the Purpose.

    We will not collect any personal data from you that is not needed for the Purpose.

    3. How We Collect Your Personal Data

    We process personal data provided to us directly by you or through the Portal and/or follow-up communication. By filling out the Form to provide us your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para 1 lit. a GDPR to process your personal data for the Purpose indicated in this privacy statement.

    If the personal data you provided needs to be corrected, please, indicate the changes by sending the email to fashion@fsc.org.

    We collect anonymised analytics via Microsoft Dynamics 365, which honors “Do not track me”, if you configure your browser accordingly.     4. How We Use Your Personal Data

    We are not using your personal data for anything else beyond the Purpose or the processing described in this Privacy Statement. Our technical staff will use the log files for purposes of trouble shooting, and for providing help to end users.

  • In detail, we use your personal data to contact the company for any updates or enquires related to the Fashion Forever Green Pact. We might use your personal data to enable the Purpose, to improve and update related services, communicate with you, secure against fraud and abuse, troubleshoot issues and as necessary for safety and integrity based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). In addition, we use your personal data as is required by law (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c) GDPR).

    5. Who We Share Your Personal Data With

    We will share your company’s name and progress of achieving the Purpose on our website: fashionforevergreen.org. We will share your data also with Canopy for the purpose of joining the Canopy Style initiative.

    All personal data we process for the Purpose of this Privacy Statement is processed as well by FSC GD staff for the purposes of described above.

    If the personal data that we collect from you needs to be transferred to, and processed by a processor based outside of the European Economic Area (EEA), we will take steps, such as including contractual clauses into our contracts with such processors or controllers, that would ensure that your personal data is safe and treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Statement. Other than that, we do not share the personal data with other third parties, unless described in this Privacy Statement or is required to do so by law.

    We will keep your personal data for 7 years following the filling-out the Form.
